Catching Up

As you notice I haven't been writing much on the blog. I know you are all out there, but I haven't touched base with most of you. So I hope all is well with you and yours. I have been knitting as it's my latest passion. finished up another pair of socks. The young lady I made them for was extremely surprised, in a good way. She works at Panera's here in Stockton.

Our weather is beautiful today and all seems to be yearning for Spring. I am. My Aunt Alice had a difficult time this year. A mini stoke, and other ailments. But she's doing her best and seems in good spirits when I talk with her on the phone. I think she's one awesome lady.

Vince has been working up in Kirkwood since the resort burned down their power house. Every weekend they want someone from Holt to hold their hands at their busy times when thousands visit to ski. The guys at work have been trading off to hand holding Kirkwood through this time. Just makes for very long weekends without Vince.

Only went on one scooter trip. Since the weather has been a hit and miss with being nice on the weekends and guessing when Vince will be home. We did travel to Ripon to a festival they were having. It was fun.

Paul is doing his usual. Walking during the week, with exercising with me for 45 min. at 24 Hour Fitness. Then it is off to coffee and meet up with friends in our Coffee Klatch. This only varies on weekends and Fridays. Fridays we don't exercise, we enjoy the coffee with friends then some shopping or maybe completely some errands... ending up having lunch. Week ends are Paul's own to mess up. (chuckle) He does meet up with Bob Dalton, and old college friend, on Sundays for lunch.

Alan is dealing with being laid off. Not a good thing in this economy. Lenore is working. Ken is still involved in sailing. He'll be racing again this year.

Well this is only a catch up and to make sure all of you out there are well. Drop a line now and then so we can keep in touch.
