Today we got a call from the Davis Medical Center’s Kidney Transplant Department in Sacramento. On Thursday, Oct 30, we are to take Bud in for a re-evaluation. Bud, Jim and I will be there most of the day as his appointment is at 12:45. We hope to have a tentative transplant date at the end of the visits to various departments within the Transplant Center. To say that we are excited is to put it mildly! I will keep you updated as we learn more about the process, timing and of course, the actual date, once we know it. A lot of hope rides on the outcome of the re-evaluation and your good thoughts and prayers are appreciated! Bud has a good chance of getting his life back and returning to a more normal routine even with all the drugs he will have to take for the rest of his life, and their side-effects. We have GREAT EXPECTATIONS!
