Trip to Portland, Oregon!

Our trip to Portland to visit Hannah and Ken was fun. Though I expected cool weather I got triple digit heat. ARGH! Just too hot to really enjoy the outdoors the way we wanted. In the above video you see Ken and Hannah along with Melody and Sonata. Ok so I spelled the dogs name incorrectly when making the title in the video... Oops. Too tired to fix it.

Hannah talked us into going to Multnomah Parade on Saturday. It's a local parade with everyone knowing everyone else. It was fun to watch this Get A Life Marching Band. Most of the people in the band and drill team are at least 50 or older. They were fun to watch.

This movie of the boat engine is for Ken and Vince. They seem to think it was very important to video it. So here it is.

Had a great trip on the Columbia river in Ken's sail boat though we didn't do the sails. We just motored. Vince has a real problem on the water so the less we leaned to and fro the better. It was a great trip. It was great to see Ken and Hannah.

It's beautiful where Hannah and Ken live. We took a walk through their neighborhood.
