Oddity!

This week end while watering the yard and putting food out for the birds, I discovered an oddity. I have never seen our banana palm bloom before. It's a strange looking thing almost alien. Thought I would share it with you all. We've had the palm for about five years. Didn't even know it bloomed. Mat said it reminded him of an artichoke.
