Mary Francis Rowe Memorial

These are pictures that were taken on Dec. 23rd, at the dedication of the memorial to Mary Frances Rowe (Paul's Sister). Mary Fran died in July of 2004 and the memorial to her is the Prayer Room at the Merced United Methodist Church where she was a long time member. The stained glass was designed and created by Tim Stevenson, an artist from Carson City, Nevada. The top window is a chrysalis and butterfly depicting one of her favorite hymns, The Hymn of Promise.

The center window is a dove, representing the Bible verse; John 14:27. The bottom window is of some of Mary Francis Rowe (Paul's sister) favorite flowers, representing her believe that God created this beautiful world and we are stewards of all His creations.

The picture is of her family as they gathered for the dedication and in the background is an oil painting of her that was done by artist, Rick Cox from Merced.
