I'm home! Had a great time in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. Everyone kept telling me I'll love seeing the colors of fall. Well I wasn't all that impressed. Seems they weren't popping out like they should. After getting home I heard they're finally changing. I was a week too early.
Enjoyed a ferry ride across Lake Michigan which dropped us off in Wisconsin. We drove for another two hours to make it to our lodging Chanticleer Bed and Breakfast. My friends were already there. Beautiful place. They served an English breakfast in the morning. Fruit in clotted cream with a muffin. Juice and coffee. Rooms were spacious.
It was fun seeing my friends and it was also nice getting home. I need a vacation from my vacation.
