Lodi on Friday

Paul and I had a great lunch on Friday, our usual day out. Walked up and down School Street in Lodi. This is a little town some ten miles from Stockton. We checked out the stores along the renovated area. Found a place to eat called Lodi Brewery. Nice hosting staff and good food. The ambiance was relaxing. It seems all Paul and I do is eat. No wonder we're having to go and exercise everyday. But then again what else is there? On our little adventure we came across a chocolate store. Drool!! They had candied apples the size of softballs. All different coatings. Rocky Road, Peanut Butter, and others I had no idea what they were but looked delicious. Everything was handmade. I could have bought everything, but I didn't and even left without purchasing a delectable apple. POUT! Had to take Paul to Tom's used bookstore where I go on occasion. On our way there during our walk, a horse drawn hearse rode by us. Never seen one before. The horses were beautiful. Very classy. But weird. Friday was a very good day.
